Is there away that you can make them in half's size so it would be 2-pieces of 9-inch with the hole at 5-inch on the one only.

Hi, this globe is 18 inches in Diameter. from one side to the other. The total all around size or circumference would be 56". Unfortunately we are unable to sell these globes as parts at this time. It sounds like you would need to customize the globe yourself, this is possible as we have some customers who use the globes for many different artistic projects by cutting them and heating the plastic to remold it to the desired look. I will note that this does void any warranties and makes them unreturnable.
